Hi Ooralea Education & Care Centre Families!

I am looking forward to visiting your centre along with the assistance of Jessica Tandy Photography on Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th September to capture your children’s photos. 

Below is all the information you need about photo days. Please have a read through, so you are familiar and if you have any questions, please contact me. 

It's SUPER important that you register for photos prior to photo day. I only take a variety of individual photos for registered children. If you haven’t registered by photo day, only 1 individual photo will be taken, purely for the composite class photo. If you don’t want this to occur, please inform your director and the photographer immediately. Please also DOUBLE CHECK your email address is correct when registering your child/children, as this is where I will communicate with you and deliver your online gallery.

HOW IT WORKS:

I will photograph individual photos, commencing at 6:30am sharp, so please ensure your child arrives early on photo day. 

The individual photos will be a variety of portraits and play-based photos within the centre grounds and we will photograph the children under the guidance from the centre staff, who will assist me with each child’s readiness. 

Registration is VITAL so I can contact you, receive your permissions, marry up your order to your child and email your online private gallery to you.

Please be aware that there is NO set day that your child will be photographed! If your child is in say Monday and Tuesday, we may not get to photograph them until the Tuesday. It is the family’s responsibility to inform the photographer if they want their child photographed on a particular day. If we photograph your child one day and you have forgotten to have them dressed in a particular outfit or have their hair done to your liking or forget it’s photo day, we cannot guarantee to retake photos or return on an alternate day. Another situation would be if your child is in on Mondays and Tuesday and we don’t get to your child until Tuesday and they are away… In this circumstance, families will be contacted via email to discuss providing just a class photo and a partial refund or a full refund (however, processing fees do apply).

If your child does not attend either Mondays or Tuesdays and you would like photos taken, please make arrangements to bring your child in either the Monday or the Tuesday between 12:30pm and 1:45pm.

Without registration, your child will only have 1 individual photo taken, purely for the class photo. If after photo day, you would like this photo, you will still need to register your child and you’ll only have the option to purchase one digital, once the gallery is delivered. NO prints will be available to be purchased after photo day.

If you do want individual photos of your child, but don’t want them to be in the class photo, please place this information in the ‘Special Requests’ section of your registration form and also advise your Centre Director of this, so they can inform the photographer. Additionally, if you don’t want any photos taken of your child at all and you don’t want them in the class photo, you must indicate this to your director, who is to inform the photographer in writing! Any child who’s photo isn’t taken or is absent on photo days, will have their name marked as absent on the composite class photo.

The timeframe to delivery your prints to your centre is approximately 8-10 weeks after the last photo day.

Information for Families

  • To avoid any disappointment and incur any late fees, please ensure your registrations and orders are completed by the due date, indicated to you and your centre.

    REGRISTRATIONS: If you do not register your child before their allocated photo day, NO photo will be taken of them, apart from one purely for the composite class photo. If you don’t want any individual photos taken of your child and you do not want them in the composite class photo, please advice your centre director who will need to then advise the photographer in writing.

    ORDERS: If orders are received after the due date, you will need to make a late payment, via the online store. Depending on lateness, will depend on your late fee. See ‘Late Order Fees’ in the Day Care Photo Packages for more info. Please also note that you will not receive your prints and/or digital files (if applicable) until this late payment has been received.

  • The class photo will be a composite style photo.

    Please ensure your child arrives to the centre as early as possible on photo days. Any child not present on either of the photo days (sick, late, etc), will have their name marked as absent and they will not be included in the class photo.

    Sometimes, some children get overwhelmed with getting their photo taken. TFP takes no responsibility with regards to any unwillingness / no participation from the child.

    If you purchase photos and your child does not want their photo taken, or is very unhappy, TFP takes no responsibility and your order may be refunded. All efforts will be made to have your child photographed however, due to some circumstances, this may not occur.

    Please note that class photos are offered as a PRINT ONLY and are included in photo packages or can be purchased on its own as an add on.

  • Only siblings who attend the centre will be eligible to get their sibling photo. Please fill out a registration for each enrolled child you have that attends the centre. A package for each child separately will need to be ordered. Mixing of photos from each gallery into 1 package is not permitted.

  • Individual photos are a small variety of portraits and fun play photos within the centre grounds with the use of props, play equipment and/or nature. We will commence photographing individual photos from 6:30am until approximately 2:00pm under the guidance from the centre staff, who will assist me with each child’s interest and readiness.

  • Print Orders
    All print orders will be delivered to your centre for collection approximately 8-10 weeks after the last photo day, pending any delays with Australia Post, print labs, technical issues, and/or due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please note that the selection of photos for your prints will be at the discretion of the photographer and your photos will be printed at a high-quality print lab within Australia. No print orders will be placed after photo day, unless agreed directly with the photographer, where additional fees will be charged.

  • At present, I don’t offer family photos or sibling photos of children who do not attend the centre.
